Every school I went to in the US had english classes. Every single one, so I think we can already understand one another. New arrivals should be taught english. My sister taught english to immigrants for 30 years. Funny stories. She was teaching russians inthe 80`s and having discussions about money savings accounts, checking accounts, etc. They wanted to store their saving account cash buying new TVs as they did in Russia. I guess they were just a little ahead of their time-g- After 5 years of less then 1% returns on saving accounts .. edit our country should have large language schools for everyone and it should be mandatory. Are we the only people so dumb we cannot learn other languages? You know from your service how stupid we appear in the rest of the world being monolingual.
