One more point to watch is Boeing's rapid recovery, despite the fact that its projected growth will be coming from Asia. The market is betting on "safe" stocks.

Given that Asian demand is huge (although the profit margin will be low and only strong companies with high volume sales will do well henceforth), Boeing is an unambiguously strong and safe company from the point of view of the WS Analysts. A rapid recovery for Boeing's price tells that one should carefully identify stocks that will be unambiguously the leaders.

The Wall Street is still confused and is pumping money into utilities and other clearly leading companies like Boeing. IBM and Dell are companies that seem to pass Wall Street's test. An example of the Wall Street's confusion is the DD sector, despite the techies' belief that QNTM is the leader. If QNTM shows earnings as expected and that it has more than the standard DDs (e.g., DLTs), it may win the WS.

I think we should discuss stocks that are leaders, are depressed, do business in Asia, and the WS is confused about. For example, some stocks the WS does not seem to be confused as being leaders are WDC and APM. These stocks are already depressed a lot and shorting them may not be fun. There may be other candidates to short or to buy.
