Romeny and Mormons. I have been thinking about this and I think almost everyone has overlooked the really big effect on our country and culture if Romney is elected. Which is, Romney will bring the Mormon church's culture and values into the government lock stock and barrel. He will hire thousands of Mormons to run things.
Mormons are not like other Christians in that their faith is not just faith on the side. They live their faith and it is also a culture. What the Mormons will bring is a very very conservative and dogmatic culture, and a highly business oriented government. Mormons are more apt to major in business than poetry.
Romney and his gang will use all their power to give even more power to the plutocrats. We are a Plutocractic oligarchy now. Under Romney the business community will further solidify their power over the country. That will be his only goal. To empower the big business community, the MIC and the neo cons.
As well, he will reinstate the neo con philosophy e.g. further weakening public schools, the social safty net, civil rights, and increase the war on women, gays, minorities, income inequality and try and turn this country into one big red state.
And if the Republicans hold the house and win the senate, which is probable, Romney will have full unchecked power to shape our country anyway he wants. And the way he wants it is for the nantion to look like the Mormon culture.
And worst of all Romney is totally insenstive to human suffering or needs. The last two years of his governorhip of Mass when the liberals fended him off, he just walked away from the state. He only cares about what he cares about. |
