I doubt you have credible information that Franklin was an adulterer. If indeed it could be shown that Franklin was a covenant breaker, it would indeed directly effect his credibility as a negotiator because negotiations are are predicated on the trustworthiness of promises made by the negotiator. For instance: if you cheated on your former spouse in order to have a relationship with your current partner, there will always be a question in her mind about the level of your commitment to her, no matter what you say. Likewise: if she was unfaithful to her former spouse in order to be with you, what's to prevent her from doing the same thing to you once she gets tired of your BS. All pronouncements of love will be taken with a grain of salt because you have already shown that your commitments and promises are worthless.
