Unions protect the worker from the rich and powerful. How you can twist that to say they take advantage of the worker is amazing. Workers have fought for unions with their blood and guts for a long time. And the rich and powerful have hired bully boys to beat them up when they tried to organize.

Workers at the turn of the 20th century were so abused it was pitiful. You should know that. They had no rights at all and were used, abused and discarded at will. Sweat shops were common as they are today in Asia where there are few unions.

When, tell me when, have the rich and powerful ever been fair to the worker. I am a pretty good student of history and I know of no time. And neither do you and you will not be able to tell me when.

So tell me when workers were treated fairly without unions?

Over the last few decades over 90% of all the increases in both wealth and productivitiy have gone ot the top 1%. And so income inequality is the worst it has been in almost 100 years.

You don't know that? Or don't care?

Kings, queens, feudal lords, tribal chiefs and very rich have always run things to their advantage.
