The tipping fee's in that area are around $60/ton. So the cost of dumping a truck load of 30,000 lbs is around $900 plus the cost of operating the truck to get there and back.

$900 pays for a lot of truck miles before the economics of paying tipping fees begins to make sense.

That makes delivering plastic to JBI a cost attractive option for a wide area around the plant.
