what do you mean making so little on boxes. since feb 97 when the 799 came out at a little higher price the street thought it was just a 5% margin box... the day they found out the true margin cpq went up 5-6 points. this isn't there entire prodcut line. it the lowest level box they have and they are making 20+% (with) monitor. cpq has the highest gross margins in the pc industry with 27.4%. so, 20% is fantastic on the baby cpq...
