Bush #2 and Clinton did drugs, but they were both dishonest and evasive in their reporting of it. They thus set even worse role-models IMO.

I do wish they had answered the question with "yes I did, I'm not proud of it and if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't. Everyone knows that Clinton inhaled...probably more than once.

My problem isn't that Obama smoked pot. It's that it was part of his identity. It was a lifestyle choice. It would be the same with alcohol or gambling or any other vice. If a presidential candidate got drunk a couple of times and even made a fool of himself....so what? But if being drunk was a way of life....Gambling..same thing. Played some poker, craps...blackjack....no big thang. But if he took out a second mortgage on the home to fund the gambling habit. Probably not the right guy to run the country.
