Nadine,

I'm interested on your thoughts on this -
When a politician thinks he is in trouble, he or she might resort to the "big play" to try to change the game. An obvious example is McCain's "Hail Mary" pass picking Palin to shake up the race in 2008. As in sports, the "big play" might work or might fail.

If we get to August or September and Obama's team thinks that the election is a coin toss at best, what "big play" would they consider to shake things up? My initial thought is military action against Iran, perhaps in coordination with Israel.
