I bet Glen Beck was out there warning people about the overspending, overborrowing, literally house of cards economy in 2006 destined to collapse? It was only after the economy collapsed, housing crashed and the realization all the demand pulled forward during the bubble and subsequent deleveraging would take a long time to work through and McCain put up as a more moderate sacrificial lam did the extremists come out and 'warn' us. BHO and his quite unique background just played right into their 'fear' card and even more rational folks on the right like you buy into it
