Ray -- Actually, Citi is about the only bank that is trying to do its e-pay in-house. Or most of it. CKFR does handle the e-pay customers of Citi who go through the Quicken interface (I am one).

Also, last time I looked, Bank of America uses its own in-house e-pay capability for its California customers, but uses CKFR for others.

Personally, I think its only a matter of time before Citi throws in the towel and hires CKFR, because there are such huge economies of scale in the e-pay business.

I highly recommend reading the entire thread here. There are several posters who are far more knowledgeable than I. Robert Gintel, for example, owns a big slice of CKFR through his Gintel Fund and put up some especially lucid posts in the past.

Good luck on your investments.
