"Somebody's certainly lying, but it isn't the NYDEC. Honest Jonny claims free plastic and $10/bbl cost basis so millions would be flowing to the bottom line if he'd simply run a processor yet he stalls. In what universe does that It."

I agree. So far the common denominator for all ambiguity and deceit surrounding JBI appears to be one individual by the name of, "John W. Bordynuik." One would have to wonder why such a routine function as the permit has been shouted from the rooftops and where every step was PR'ed in detail to shareholders (with the exception of why it took a full seven months to fill out a ten-page permit application)...yet not a word about what evidence exists that the plastic pyrolysis is commercially viable at all nor what has to happen before commercial production will supposedly start.

The answer is that Mr. Bordynuik still looking for credibility with shareholders and he doesn't have a commercially viable process which he can use to prove it like he claims. He's latched on to the NYDEC as a government entity and wants shareholders to believe the NYDEC validated his process. He did the same for NY senator Thompson, giving a generous campaign contribution and getting lip service from the senator. Recently he hired SAIC...but didn't disclose the results. Why hire SAIC to 'validate' the commercial viability when he supposedly should already know the costs involved and the prices the pyrolysis oil can get?? It's not hard to figure out.
