I have FIOS at the house and it is fast as lightning. I doubt Verizon will put data caps on the service as you can send a lot more data down a fiber than you can down a Cable. My only regret about making the move I'm about to make is there isn't FIOS where I'm moving and will whole heartedly recommend the service to anybody that can get it where they live. I have been extremely happy with the service so far and it is miles better than any other connection I've ever had. My one complaint with Verizon is a lot of their stuff is Windows only which I've complained about to them repeatedly.
