Don and Sparky, I've been reading this as well as other threads everyday and am convinced that in the short term fundamental data means beans. A company can have great products great earnings and very positive forward outlook, yet be totally trashed. There are too many good tech companies getting trashed. I think the market is manipulated to some extent beyond any common persons understanding, but if you watch and listen over time you start seeing and catching the buzzwords.

A correction had been called for since the middle of summer and this call wasn't going to cease till it came. Once the correction came word spread that we couldn't bounce till we had a test of the low or good side ways movement. Nothing is going to snap the market to do otherwise now. Once the picture of doom is complete and they have shaken the weakhearted out of this incredible market, then the buying frenzy will start, giving those with cash a great bargain at the expense of those weak hearted sellers.

I think the big caps will start moving in December and the techs won't do abything till January. It has been decreed by the insiders as so and so it shall be, no matter who shatters estimates or has had double digit growth. I've given up on trying to react day to day and realize that things are seasonal and cyclical becuase so much of all of this is psychological and not really based on logic. I think the logic and fundamentals play in the longer term for sure though. All the companies with great fundamentals that have been trashed will do phenomenally well in the not to distant future.

The techs have had their bear market and things should really start moving after December and stronger and stronger as next year progresses. I wouldn't be surpised if all the companies that Don tracks won't test their highs before early summer!
