Emails are the worst source, usually. We all get burnt on "too good not to be true" type of tales. I am going to take this example to discuss some things you can do to make your posting life here more pleasant.

First, install liquidwords.info. Best add on to Fire Fox and chrome you can get. It's a "right click" addition that does wonderful things for you. Please try it out if you don't have it.

When I read your story, I highlighted and right clicked the author's name using Liquid Words. This pulled up all the info on him. I add google news to my search under "reference."

I start out to post both the author and the link on each post if I think it's needed. New's story, get the paper and the url if you can. Article, author's name and url if possible. It's not always needed. If you post the either the author OR the source, I can get the rest easily.

If it's a political article by a known commentator, you really don't need the source.
