look, this could be a sick company. not sears sick but a company with problems. management is pretty good here, but they have really stepped in it the last 12 months. i see a path to 60 pretty easily but they need to get SSS back up to the 3-4% range for that to happen. if they have a decent back to school and xmas, i think 12x 5.25 - 5.50 next year numbers is possible 12 months from now. as my friend said to me today (he owned KSS for 7 months last year) - his worry on KSS is that his base case/expected case was dead money. downside is 10x 4.75 bucks next year's numbers which is 5% total return.
