Re: Flipper-

Yah...$50.50....tell them to quit it. I still think you might get chances on NLY-C sub $24.80...which I think is still a buy. NLY-A hangs above $26 and the C is better paper IMHO with no call. My guess dealers are still moving paper around working off the exist from the deal...or so I hope.

I bought a little MFO on Covenant's idea. It is a few months old. KYN-D looks interesting from RichAbe.

Just think of the mark to market losses this quarter from those that hedge interest rates against long portfolios with swaps. They will be monster losses. NLY loss will be huge. Anyway to play this?

Lastly...I bite my tongue on this one becaue it is a real dog, but CFP is doing a rights offering at a 7% premium. My guess the deal is a slight bust and you might be able to get it sub 7% premium. This is a faux yield fund paying out mostly ROC but normally trades at 25%+ premium. Yield hogs love it. I did this with OXLC even though I hate it. Sell when it gets to normal valuation is my plan.

THis rally is too strong....everything we have almost, is a likely call candidate. I have lost so much good paper in the last 15 years on calls. I am being more careful.
