RE: Cabot upsetting the calmness
Eve,
If Cabot has rated IOM a buy again, as of today, you may want to resolve that broker change very quickly. His loyal followers helped run the stock up to the dizzying highs it hit in spring 1996, then the momentum collapsed. You'd be well to have the ability to bail at the peak if the PE starts climbing into the stratosphere, then wait for things to return to normal. Mind you, I'm not recommending that you sell now, only that you be sure you're ready to sell in the near future if you start seeing PEs of, oh, 80 or 100 or something ridiculous like that. It could happen. It has already happened, in fact.
Just my opinion. It's your money. And who knows what kind of reaction there'll be this time. It could be, though, that the spike at the end of today's intraday chart is the first symptom of Cabot-itis.
As Truff says, we can take their money if we bail at or near the Cabot-induced peak.
