Q! Thanks for sharing the thoughts! Sounds like you have the strategy well in place to cover all contingencies... I was trying to do that until I found out E-Schwab wasn't handling the DJX Put options yet. (They are now).
What concerns me about SEA financial problems is if they have the potential to dwarf the Mexico-type problems. As I hear it, $68 Billion isn't going to be enough to handle the problems in Korea....Thailand is allegedly asking for more $$, and rumors are afoot of more big Nipponese bankruptcies... Cash keeps looking better under those circumstances.
I can understand how you would tread carefully when considering core telecom stocks... We telecom types understand that our field is the fundamental underpinning for the world, the Solar System, our Galaxy, and most of the regions of visible galactic space. So I did regret lightening up on ATI, QWST, etc.....Getting prepared for the time when moving back in seems the smart move. So am tracking threads like this, where smart people reside... maybe I'll pick up some clues!
Thanks for the Zoomer welcome! And much successful, Poochie investing, QDog!!
