The plant just assemble cars. Canada is a market too small to support all industries that gravitate around an assembling plant.

The reason I was saying Canada need to be a 140 million-people country because them it would have the scale and the critical mass. That means for full fledge industries.

What the Canadians to wrote back? Well, there is no space for such amount of people there because there is only a thin strip of less than frigid country for people to live along the US border.
