I believe that someone who was totally insane murdered Suzanne. I don't believe that it was "someone who knew her." The fact that after 14 years no one has been apprehended obviously lends increasing credence to the idea that the murderer was not someone who knew her. Frankly, that was a ridiculous idea to begin with. Morons.

The police should now be looking not for someone who might have known Jovin in some trivial way (there is no intersection) but rather someone who was supremely troubled, harbored a severe resentment against women (in general), and had other deep psychological problems.

I think he killed SJ as revenge against his mother, for cutting him off. There is a suspect who fits that description.

It's a relatively small group of people in New Haven in 1998. Look at all the deeply disturbed clinical patients who suddenly started to take massive amounts of medications. The New Haven police need to speak with experts about who started to take meds in 1998 and why. It isn't much of a jump.
