The government made loans to Solyndra that were never paid back and the proceeds of any sale will go to the government since Solyndra is now American property.



Solyndra does not belong to the govt, it is one of many creditors, some secured others unsecured. The corrupt administration even allowed some of the federal loans to be subordinated to private debt. The loans were granted to scale up manufacturing, which almost certainly means that the patents were awarded well before the loans.
