I hear what you are saying but if 70% of economy runs of the retail spender then it is clear what is causing this 'change of story.' The emplyment numbers looked to be trending better and better all throughut the upswing in first part of 2012. Once the employment numbers started to weaken the selloff was on. as each add'l month confirms the selloff gains steam. With the last numbers the fear is next number is no new jobs created but jobs lost. If this this new trend continues it could lead to double (tripple?) dip recession then the real sell off starts in earnest.

Ps I like you want to feel a lot is baked in already particulalrly in chips which we have seen tend to lead directionaly -just pointing out what seems to be the driver .Thx
