IMHO the T bond market is either over-priced or telling us a mass of deflation is heading our way. The longer it stays down here the more I believe the latter.

I still am scaling in an IEF short hedge (TLT was too volatile for my needs)...because if Europe fires up the presses the Bubble's carry trade will backfire badly (borrow short, invest long). In Finance 101 they tell you never mis-match your maturities, but no one seems to be listening with finance firms choking for earnings.

XOM's 3% yield compared to the 10 year looks awesome...but is the 10 year a faux yield? If so then only 3% is scary. I am with you...over-priced....I can not see buying stocks for yield now.
