My decision was not based on his critique of my running history, which may be proof of some mental instability on my part in any case, but on his constant personalization of most comments. If one cautions another reader against a specific act which he might have recommended, he takes it as a personal assault on his standing, despite the fact that others may not respond in a similar manner to him. HIs is the ' The World According to 'my Ass' ('mahone') one could say.
He may indeed not be a moron on other threads, but in the one I noted I was forced to conclude it long ago, and it is difficult to stay out of his way as he insists on commenting aggressively on many posts that were not intended for for him but may involve some note of advice he has given.
In any case, I put him on ignore and continue to see his posts. Perhaps I have not utilized the feature quite correctly.
Thank you for your comment. Perhaps I will be swayed in my judgement, though I doubt I would put him on 'follow', unless he becomes a bit more entertaining in his moronicity. In reading your url and the posts I have to say that this does not even sound like the clown I have been dodging. Don't know what I did to set him off, but you never know. Sometimes perfectly unstable individuals can just go completely off their rockers about some specific issue or individual. This may be the case here. He don't like me, and I don't think much of his advice to others.....a bad blend. |
