Follies, Thanks for your positive potential suggestions.

2) require everyone on unemployment to attend retraining classes. Missing attendance you don't get your unemployment.

I would even go further, If the individuals can not find employment after the retraining classes they would be required to engage in a program like the WPA or CCC during the Roosevelt era to continue to receive their unemployment benefits. IMO, this would enable to maintain and improve his high and low skill sets for future employment. I have been informed that individuals have been out of work for six months it is very difficult to find future employment. This is especially true according to my nephew who recently retired as a tire manufacture plant. He informed me that the company did not employ unemployed workers figuring that the previous company terminating the employee got rid of their least employed workers. This is especially true for older laid off employees.

4) link retirement and Medicare age to life expectancy. Each year you are required to work one more month before you can collect. Limit disability social security to a fixed percent of all social security payers, only the most disable would collect, least disabLe put on a waiting list.

What do we do with those who do not fit your situation and have no income means - put them out on the street?

Follies this is the type of intellectual discussion which can benefit this site rather than personalizing and polarizing against each other.

Thanks for your feed back.
