Robbing people who have achieved things is the norm. Often it's the powerful and rich who rob the producers who are poor and work for little reward, so do not misunderstand the idea. "Rob" means by force, against will, whether the robber be the president or the pauper. You probably think that robbery is the way to being saved = more taxes of opm handed to you to spend.
The way for Americans to save themselves is the same way as a billion Chinese are saving themselves = learn, work, save, invest and spend in frugal, sensible, careful ways, with maximized return on expenditure being the aim. Spend decades doing it. Buying Coke and hot dogs might make sense infrequently. A diet of Coke, whether regular or diet, is NOT the road to redemption. Voting for bludging and Big Government is NOT the road to redemption.
Here is your bung thinking: <voting for the rich white guy > You have a problem with "rich" but rich is great. If everyone could be rich compared with everyone 50 years ago that would be great. You are obviously a racist having an issue with melanin content of skin, but perhaps you include people who "act white" by being civil, learning, working, saving, investing. You are also obviously a sexist or you would not stipulate "guy" and you are doubling down by using "guy" as slang for a person instead of the right word, "man". You denigrate the good and will reap the evil rewards if you are not over-ruled.
Voting should be more aligned to the person's ideology than the melanin content of their skin, the presence or absence of ovaries/testes, or their bank balance. The fact that you measure people like that shows the paucity of your thinking.
