What just happened is devastating. The poor who suffered big time before the New Deal, could well be going back to that, and the workers of the last century who suffered so much before unions.

How does the Citizens United get reversed? If it is not reversed this Wisconsin result will be repeated over and over. 26 billionaires will spend hundreds of millions of dollars this year buying congressional people federal and state. They will scour the congress and legislature's looking for people they can buy. Then they will spend millions to defeat their opponent, not only by using negative advertising, but intimidating them by hiring detectives to look for anything they can to defeat that person which will intimidate many prospective candidates. e.g. Warrens claim of 1/32 Indian blood. It can be anything they can distort and blow up and we all have something like that in our past.

If Romney wins and he well might, the supreme court remains hard core right wing for at least 20 years.

If the right wing wins the senate, holds the house and elects Romney, which looks likely, it is match, set and game.

And this mean the "empire" will run this country the way it wants and the first order of business will be to crush the rest of the resistance which is the unions, and Democratic party and shred the social safety net.

The second order of business will be to open up this country to rape by the large corporations. Cutting down the forests and laying waste to everything they can make a profit on. And forget doing anything about AGW.

This is the most dire time politically since the Mccarthy and Hoover days and looks very dangerous going forward.
