It amazes how a writer of Headlines can COMPLETELY be against the actual content of an article. The utterly BS/misleading headline: CERN director says LHC will find God Particle by end of the year telegraph.co.uk WHAT HE ACTUALLY SAID in PARAPHRASE "THIS IS A PUBLICITY DAY SO I MUST GIVE NEWS TO PRESS AND THAT NEWS IS I AM CONFIDENT WE WILL KNOW AN ANSWER TO WHAT WE DON'T KNOW BY YEARS END: AND THAT IS DOES HIGGS BOSON EXISTS or DOES NOT:At This Time We Have NO Idea: But i think we will know before the big shut down at end of year. He actually said nothing Rolf-Dieter Heuer, director of CERN where the LHC is based, said he was confident that by the end of the year it will be possible to say whether the Higgs Boson, the particle which is responsible for giving mass to the universe, exists. We will know by the end of this year whether it exists *or whether it is non-existent.* This would be a huge discovery that after 50 years we are able to describe the visible universe. "We will have taken a big step forward about our knowledge of the physical world. It will help us to understand the creation of the universe."
