Only time will tell and it really doesn't matter how we see this acquisition it only mattters how the market sees it and that won't be known for some time yet. Actually I see it as a plus. We will have to wait a little longer and we have to see the terms of this buyout and how it is paid for and with what... cash ... stock..bangles or beads.. If Mr. Hawk and his management team [whoever they are] are embarking on a long range plan then what they have done is probably good for the long pull. The trucking industry is gigantic and until we see some numbers on the total market it is awfully hard to pass judgement on this decision to buy Omnidata. Maybe it will hurt short term performance but I have to see it as a plus as the market always looks ahead and not at the present as to earnings and growth and potential for both. We have all waited patiently to this point. We are only going to have to wait four more months for the direction to be set in concrete. The market will direct Cycomm up if what we see today shows growth and the opposite is true of course. Earnings are nice and desireable but NOT necessary if the direction of the company is where the market sees the light at the end of the tunnel and GROWTH. Just look at the multiples of some stocks on NASDAQ that have never earned a dime. The reason for this is that they are eventually expected not only to earn a dime but to earn $3.00 and they price the stock on the come. What we need more than earnings is EXPOSURE. Obviously we need both but no matter what anyone says if the product is there, then the stock gets priced correctly after they learn about it. I have spent the day trying to reach Mr.Thomas Taylor of Chesapeak Securities. He is always on the move but he follows Cycomm and he is the only one. I want to hear what he has to say and I'll let you all know. You all might try to get him. I put his number on the thread. These guys make and they break a stock. I still plan to be in the office of Cycomm on the morning of Dec 5th and if you have anything you want me to ask send it to me but quite frankly Robert Morrison's questions covered every thing humanly known and I don't see how we can add without duplicating. Mr. Hawk will have those questions in his hand tomorrow Wed the 26th. Lets see how willing he is to answer any or all of them which I think he is going to do in writing. We'll see..
