Do you remember the name of the Saudi Prince who was a big buyer of Citicorp (~13) in the midst of the Latin American banking crisis in early 80s?

Sam, it was in early 1992. Not in early 80's. Not only I remember this, but also I remember the day on which CCI made an intraday low of 8 5/8 or so. By the time I reached my brocker to place a buy order, the price went-up to 11. I backed off. It was about that time the Saudi Prince bought this stock.

Now, as you seem to be suggesting, Motorola is not in the same position as CCI was in at that time. Regardless, I could careless if Princes Di bought a 5% stake in MOT just before she died. The fact is, Motorola's business is in bad shape for the foreseable future. If a prince has some excess money to throw at this over-priced fluff, it is his problem. If someone wants to buy MOT just because of this royal touch, I will say, "be my guest!"

Why would any one care about the Chilaka Josyam (Chilaka's forecast) by a guy whose world is just around Kendall Square? -g- BTW, Chilaka didn't do that good on Compaq call, but her Intel-cast was right on the money. So are several others.
