“Droughts and other natural disasters tend to be (by God's grace) local in nature. That being the case there is still plenty of food to go around”

You an idiot. Yahweh does not cause or limit natural disasters. That stunned comment of yours is just one more asinine statement for the books. The fact that famines have sometimes been caused by tyrants does not alter the fact that starvation is the result of too many mouths to feed relative to the food supply. Food supplies are susceptible to drought, floods, infestation, etc. The fact that the world has enough food collectively to feed the victims of famines (if complete sharing and cooperation were to be practiced) is completely irrelevant to the very fact of the death of a child every 5 seconds from starvation. Starvation happens when the supply of food does not meet the demand. Supply can be affected by innumerable events--both natural and artificial. Demand relates to population. Simple equation! If you cannot follow, then you obviously have your head stuck so far up your ass that you can’t pull it out.

I know what you really think. You believe that these are Yahweh’s punishments for some breach of biblical protocol. You are a complete nut.
