FUBHO, You are conflating private sector unions with the parasites in the public sector.

No I am not!! I have formed coalitions with all unions, private and public. I can tell you situations which would cause your head to stand on edge. Politics and in confrontational bargaining is all about winning not compromise. That is why I came to the conclusion that until both parties, labor and management have felt (perceived or imaginary) tremendous equal pain on both sides that a "Win-Win" philosophy will not occur from the process.

You have seen it is past baseball, football bargaining, union bargaining (private and public) and conflict between countries which many times lead to war. The polarization projected on this site could be referred as the enemy by the other side where the "ends justify any means," in order to win.
