Christians, OTOH, believe that actions directly caused by a person outside the measurable Universe are certainly possible
Here's a picture so you can understand your options of life emerging out of the early conditions on earth ,one on the right has logical steps proceding from the previous steps . No we dont see these steps taking place all over the earth now because it was a different setting altogether , the world was "virgin" primordial state . There might be these early stage processes deep in the volcanic vents happening now , yet to be studied further , but they are deep , very deeply submerged
