We need serious campaign finance reforms, probably public finding; Republicans are standing staunchly in the way of any boundaries aside from McCain 1.0, who has himself been legacy in this area for years.

As long as the rules are this way, Obama must do what it takes to win. Losing is obviously not an option, as there will be no bilateral campaign reforms under Republicans, and the country will go back into the cut-taxes-and-spend GOP.
