Clam Clam - based on fundamentals, a $500 million market cap would represent about 4x sales. That is pricey....

However, you are correct that the digital camera hype is beginning to heat up. The cameras are beginning to appear in stores, the Casio QV10 is reported to be a hit in Japan, and the pipeline is probably full (from all camera vendors) for the Christmas selling season.

This won't immediately translate into sales for Sandisk, as the early model digital cameras don't have card slots, however, this should be a good foundation for 1997. The camera vendors will add slots to the 2nd generation products to provide for increased picture storage.

I would expect SNDK will trade in the $13 - $16 range for a while. It should have strong support at $13, and if it breaks above $17, then it could see serious upside!
