remember how many miles we used to walk to school?... uphill...? in the snow?????? last year when I visited Mom is Tulsa, I talked her and my 86yr old uncle into driving out to Tahlequah, on the OK/ARK border when they grew up in a little cabin. They cabin is long gone, but I said let's go find where it was....all they way it was fun listening to Mom & Uncle Ken talk about their childhood, of course a lot of it was about... remember how many miles we used to walk to school?... uphill...? in the snow?????? after we found where the cabin sat, we went to look at the school...... 0.4 miles, dead flat. ) They were convinced that the school must have been moved at some point.
