Ted, I am not telling you who to vote for. But I will vote for Scott Walker. He did not collective bargaining for public employees, which I agree. Public employees are paid with people's money in the form of taxes. Who are they responsible to? The taxpayers, and not to shareholders of corporation.
Do you how much they can syphon the taxpayers money? Retire at 43 after 20 year service? Which private employee has that privilege? You said that public employees work just as hard as private employees, and that is based on your experience. My personal experience is just the opposite. Every Monday morning was spent on Monday morning quarterbacking of the Sunday's football game. Then it is time for lunch, which could take 2 hours, and then work for an hour, the coffee break, smoking outside the building, back to work for 1 hours, and hey, it is 4:00 PM, time to go home. Twenty year service and bye bye, retire, go to work again as civil servant, double dip at the expense of taxpayers.
So Scott Walker promised to get rid of public employee union. Bravo to him, Republican or otherwise. |
