It took awhile for The Washington Post to recognize that Reagan was going to be President in 1980. The USA 'grassroots' knew it. The Democrat Precinct Chairman in our Virginia precinct was amazed at the 72% for Reagan as Democrats crossed party lines to vote for Reagan. She admitted that she had never seen anything like it in her long years of being the Democrat Precinct Chairman-----------as her polling of the precinct revealed what would happen even before the polls open in the a.m. Could it be that the same is in the making now-------with Democrats so disgusted they will overwhelmingly vote Republican for presumably Romney and the not yet named VP Candidate? A strong possibility with the Washington Post writers indicating so. .
