That seems like a reasonable explanation. I wonder what happens , if they loose their concession. I thought, the assets are theirs, so how would this work if they own the transmission and power plants? I suppose they would have to be transferred to the new concession holder, but at what price?

In any case, lower prices and more investment don't add quite up for investors, so this explains the pressure on EBR shares.
