I didn't realize that the alert() function could extend a true signal for a specified number of periods in system tests and scans. Thought it was just for triggering fancy multimedia fanfare links with experts. What do you see as a valid lookback range for the reversal pattern in classic interpretation or personal experience? 13? It seems to me that simply scanning for an island formation might be too exclusionary; passing up a lot of milder actions that would yield the same result. Are you following this one Greg? Thanks for the input Richard.
