I try to drum this into my kids all year long. I show Two Million minutes every year to my kids- I think it's as important as anything else we do. Because they just don't get how hard other people in other parts of the world are willing to work. After it's over they always say "I'm so depressed. Why did you show me this? How can I compete?"

And the answer is- to make you stronger. To make you work harder. If you don't know what's out there, and how many people want to eat your lunch, how on Earth can you motivate yourself to the extent you need to?

I'm a great believer in hard work. For everyone. But as one person says in 2 Million Minutes- it's hard to motivate kids (and even adults) who live in such a secure world- like the US. But showing kids a film like 2 Million Minutes helps.
