At the start of the repuplican runs , Gov Rick Perry the " special olympics orator" who couldn't remember all 3 branches of gov't he was going to do away with, began his campaign with special reference of not believing in Evolution to garner imagined praise @ some national prayer meeting . It was a one shot deal & not another mention of the subject throughout the rest of his run for president , with its wonderful mood swings , gaffs & lapses of memory .
The honesty is pretense , willingness to admit what they really believ is not there , that they believe in only one Son of God is due more to the fact this is as high as they can count & have barely ever experienced other cultures or studied these subjects at all . In a society that finds its young catching on quick to the importance of science, math & techology degrees , rather than look like the new dumb downed "Amos & Andy" clowns (like brumar here ! lol) Texas Gov Perry's handlers thought they had better leave the subject of evolution alone .
You see, they only get smart when its not serviceable any longer , you don't just get to point a finger & call it witchcraft or heresy of some liberal pagan past & get votes . Its proven Science now which the entire educated world embraces , but they'll hide out in their pews ,political prayer meetings , count special polls , till they wake up to find the world entirely changed around them .
