Watching Team O's message during this phase of the campaign makes me wonder if their strategy is to break down Romney's image when only the politico's are paying attention. And then after Labor Day, I sense that they may go out with the message on what O would do to advance the economy. Criticizing Romney could pose a risk for Obama who has a significantly higher "likeability rating" than Romney.

I anticipate the numbers to improve in the 3rd quarter because gas prices are already falling. But we just have to wait and see since this is going to be all about "....economy stupid".
