I think laws like this one in Indiana - or those famous Arizona laws against illegals - are the future. This is the way the States will be asserting their rights - short of leaving the Union. At some point the Federal Gov will discover that the cat is out of the bag, and they can no longer take it for granted that the states will comply with any marching orders coming from DC.
