Damn. Great post, gp. Six years ago, right around the point I realized that 99.5% of private investors have no idea what they're doing. And worse, they don't know they don't know. The Dunning-Kruger Effect has always been the dominate feature of SI. I wasn't surprised by the study released a few years ago that showed message board participants generally do worse in investing than the average - mainly because they suffer from confirmation bias.

BTW, the information content in that post is immediately recognizable by any serious graduate student in economics, but is probably unintelligible to most on SI. The main point of it was to put the Money Flow concept into terms Hussman should have understood, but unfortunately, his reply to me months later showed he never really got it. Not sure what to think about that guy.
