my exit for gold is simple

my protocol for gold and platinum is below:

(i) trade paper versions of gold, platinum and silver
(ii) trade derivatives of gold and silver (mining shares, options)
(iii) earn a profit
(iv) re-allocate part of the profit to physical versions of gold and platinum
(v) repeat steps (i) through (iv), over and over again, then once more and twice again

(vi) as and whenever gold pricing ramp w/i 20% of the elapsed time since september 1999, and accounting for 50-70% of bull-to-date gain, i unload and stay away from more paper gold longs, either short paper gold or sell that portion of physical gold w/o numismatic merit (the eagles, maples, koalas, nuggets) and retain that which does (the pandas)

(vii) pass the resultant pandas and platinum to the next generation

is all.

basically am of the belief that before gold becomes unsaleable, one would be able to buy just about anything with gold, including rentals, platinum, and 25% yielding gold-backed sovereign debt.

am enthusiastic to test gaming skills against whomever counterparties are out there, and ... well, let me stop before the graphic details

i am an optimist.
