I've heard many claim that weed helped them think. Comes up in surprising places - Steve Jobs in his bio makes that claim as well. lots of tech people in that camp, including the google, Facebook and PayPal people.

But I'd like to see the laboratory data first. Certainly in my own (limited) experience pot certainly didn't help deep thinking lol. But who knows. Maybe different people respond differently.
