Generally I agree with you, but I also suspect that there are two counterbalances which have weight in this issue:

First, Steve's sister, Susan Wilk formerly was "a Senior Attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission", to quote the 1995 10-K. I suspect that she has spoken to him about public disclosure issues.

Secondly, I believe that he is concerned about his clients needs for confidentiality. I know from personal experience that confidentiality can be very important in consulting relationships.
