Find a list of enlightened leaders from anywhere- there aren't many. I'm no fan of redneckistan, but being not a fan, I know I'm also in no position to make wild ass guesses about where all the smartest people are. So without statistics, we're just talking prejudice here. And sure, if you want to trade prejudices, many people do. But it you really want to make a point, look up SAT scores, or nobel laureates who were native sons, or some other metric that measures something real, rather than a metric that just measures how much some people don't like the South, and the people who live there.
